Simply Great Grilled Chicken

Ingredients:
- 1 cut-up broiler-fryer chicken
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
In jar with lid, place soy sauce, sherry, canola oil, garlic, ginger and nutmeg; shake well and pour over chicken in bowl. Cover chicken and marinate in refrigerator 4 hours or more. Place chicken on prepared grill, skin side up, about 8-inches from heat; sprinkle with pepper. Grill chicken, turning and basting with sauce every 10 minutes, for about 1 hour or until fork can be inserted with ease. Makes 4 Servings. |
