The Purpose of Pilgrim's Pride Corporation is, within God's Will, to help save Rural North America and the Family Farms in the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico, by the creation of jobs through the production of healthy, nutritious and economical chicken and egg products for the rest of the world.

It is our commitment to seek to protect and enhance God's environmental resources through the use of the best affordable and practical science, technology and animal welfare practices available for use in the agriculture industry. By applying these industry best management practices to our uses of land, water, and air resources, we will operate within local, state and federal rules and regulations and demonstrate our commitment toward environmental stewardship.

We will always give God the credit for our progress in, or achievement of this purpose.
