Chicken Alfredo

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 heaping tbsp flour
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 16 oz favorite pasta
The Chicken
  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan. Add the chicken and sauté until fully cooked.
  3. Strain and set aside.

The Sauce
  1. Melt the butter in a pot over medium high heat
  2. Crush the garlic and add it to the butter. Cook the garlic for approximately one minute..
  3. Whisk the flour in until it has thickened.
  4. Slowly while whisking add the cream and milk.
  5. Add the cheese slowly until it has melted..

The Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot until al dente.
  2. Strain and return back to the pot.

  1. You can mix all of the ingredients together in the pasta pot, or let each person get as much or as little of chicken and sauce as they desire..
